Nơi đây tôi xin ghi lại những kỹ niệm buồn vui trong cuộc đời của một người đã sinh ra và lớn lên trong chiến tranh khói lữa, đã cầm súng chiến đấu cho tự do, và cuồi cùng đã phải đau buồn, luyến tiếc, vội vã rời bỏ quê hương đất Mẹ Việt Nam để tránh khỏi sự kềm kẹp của chề độ Cộng sản. Tôi đã được Hiệp Chủng Quốc Hoa Kỳ mở rộng vòng tay tiếp đón, và tôi đã chọn nơi đây làm quê hương thứ hai.
[Here I would like to record the sad and happy memories in the life of a man who was born and grew up during the war. He was standing up to join armed force and fighting for freedom and democracy. But finally he had to hastily leave his homeland, Vietnam, to escape the grip of the Communist regime. Luckily, The United States of America has welcomed him with open arms, and he has chosen this country as his second homeland.]
I borrow the following paragraph from Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s speech "I Have A Dream" to wish for my fellow Vietnamese in Vietnam who's still suffer under the Communist Regime to try themselves, and the word to help them, to destroy the totalitarian and inhumane communist group and bring back democracy, freedom, human right, and justice for all:
"When we let freedom ring, when we let it ring from every village and every hamlet, from every state and every city, we will be able to speed up that day when all of God's children, black men and white men, Jews and Gentiles, Protestants and Catholics, will be able to join hands and sing in the words of the old Negro spiritual, "Free at last! free at last! thank God Almighty, we are free at last!"

[I borrowed two pictures on internet and put them together to voice the mood of myself and also of millions of Vietnamese abroad who were lucky enough to be able to escape the Vietnam communist regime and reached the shores of freedom countries. We have been always thinking about our country peoples in Vietnam and wishing a bright day for them. A day with freedom, democracy, and human rights for all.]
Những người Việt ở hải ngoại đã hội nhập vào đời sống địa phương. Họ đã chăm chì làm việc và học hành để sinh tồn và tiến lên, đồng thời đóng góp sức mình cho quê hương thứ hai, Tuy bận rộn với nếp sống mới, họ không bao giờ quên hướng về quê Mẹ, và cùng toàn dân quốc nội, đấu tranh chống lại tập đoàn Cộng sàn độc tài, phi nhân, với hy vọng Việt Nam sẽ mau có công lý, tự do và đân chủ.
[Vietnamese abroad have been integrating into their communities. They worked hard for living, continued learning to move forward, and contributed their best to their societies. Disregard a busy life, and a new lifestyle, they never forgot their motherland. Together with their people in Vietnam, they have been fighting the totalitarian and inhumane communist group, hoping Vietnamese will soon have justice, freedom and democracy.]
